Morning Jo Jo vs Trump

I just cannot get enough of Joe Scarborough and the other babbling idiots on Morning Joe. There is nothing in the political pundit business that looks more like the bar scene from Star Wars than Morning Joe. From Pulitzer Prize winning Eugene Robinson (aka. Captain Obvious) to Mike Barnacle to Mika Brzezinski to Donny Deutsch-bag – I can always hear that Star Wars bar scene music playing when I tune in for a laugh.

When listening to this band of miscreants I have often wondered about their qualifications to deliver insights. They are on MSNBC so we know the bar is low. Still when I hear the words “Pulitzer Prize Winning Eugene Robinson”, I start to wonder.

Here is the background on Captain Obvious’ Pulitzer Prize. In 2009 the Washing Post won 5 Pulitzer Prizes. The Post won one for a report uncovering the prostitution scandal that forced Eliot L. Spitzer (D) to resign as New York governor. However, Captain Obvious’ Pulitzer was… wait for it… “Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson captured the prize for commentary for his writing about the campaign that led to Barack Obama’s election.” Need I say more?

Mika’s dad is Zbigniew Brzezinski. I often wonder, as I watch Mika get frustrated at the least little Politically Incorrect move or comment from others, has she ever read one of her Dad’s books? Daddy Brzezinski co-founded the Trilateral Commission (internal, 1999) with David Rockefeller, serving as director from 1973 to 1976. Some of his thoughts and writings include:

“Democracy is inimical to imperial mobilization”

“It is also a fact that America is too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad. This limits the use of America’s power, especially its capacity for military intimidation.”

“This regionalization is in keeping with the Tri-Lateral Plan which calls for a gradual convergence of East and West, ultimately leading toward the goal of one world government. National sovereignty is no longer a viable concept.”

I wonder what little Mika would have to say if any of the above quotes came out of the mouth of Donald J Trump. Hummm….

Last week in reflecting on the rise of Trump, Mike Barnacle actually had the incredibly large stones to say:

“The media has got to do a better job than we’ve been doing”

“We have to do a better job at vetting”

Is Barnacle really that lacking in self-awareness on how he and the media had a love affair with Obama? They vetted zero, instead they aided and abetted that candidate. Rest assured he knows. His own posting of the above comment specifically cut off the “at vetting” part.

I could keep writing for days about this group, including the time Joe Scarborough said he took large cash donations while a member of congress but it never influenced him. Really, Joe! Most of your MSNBC viewers may be stupid… but not all.

So while “Morning JoMeika” had been favorable toward Trump – it was the classic Liberal Playbook. The same one McCaine fell for when he made a run. Moreover, you could not have a better Liberal Republican than John McCain, and they turned on him. As soon as Trump clinched the Republican presumptive nomination, overnight JoMika turned to attack. No surprise here, we have seen it before repeatedly. What has JoMika in a spin of late? Some talk about taking over the world. Oh, sorry that is Mika’s Dad not Trump. No Trump said the following Outrageous statements:

“The judge was appointed by Barack Obama, federal judge. Frankly, he should recuse himself because he’s given us ruling after ruling after ruling, negative, negative, negative,”

“What happens is the judge, who happens to be, we believe, Mexican, which is great. I think that’s fine”

Here are some things Morning Jo Jo did not examine or raise and I will bet you they still do not know – even with all that “political expertise” they have on-board:

  • Judge Curiel lists “La Raza Lawyers of San Diego” as a legal association
  • Curiel served on the selection committee in 2014 for the La Raza Lawyers of San Diego Scholarship Fund
  • Six of seven of the recipients of these scholarships ranging from $1500 to $1600 were born in Central America
  • One of them, Ricardo Elorza, described himself as “undocumented”.
  • In the Trump case, Judge Curiel said he had “mistakenly” released some records in full, when they were supposed to be edited or redacted
  • In New York, Trump has filed an ethics complaint against Attorney General Schneiderman in connection with the case. No outrage over that!
  • Art Cohen, a lead plaintiff in the litigation, completed a survey in which he not only rated Trump University’s three-day seminar “excellent” in virtually every category, but went so far as to indicate that he would “attend another Trump University seminar” and even “recommend Trump University seminars to a friend.”
  • When asked how Trump University could improve the seminar, Mr. Cohen’s only suggestion was to “[h]ave lunch sandwiches brought in” and make the lunch break 45 minutes.
  • Former student Bob Giullo, who has been critical of Trump University in numerous interviews and negative advertisements from political opponents, also expressed his satisfaction, rating Trump University’s programs “excellent” in every category. When asked how Trump University could improve its programs, Mr. Giullo simply asked that students be provided “more comfortable chairs.”
  • Former student Tarla Makaeff is suing Trump University claiming that she didn’t receive her money’s worth, but that’s not what she said in 2008 when she was taking classes at Trump University. Watch that here!

Day after day of outrage based on the two Trump lines above. Zero days of any facts regarding the case or why a defendant could be concerned! Cue the Bar Scene music, Morning Jo Jo is about to begin.

Elitist One-Worlders

George W. Bush gave us Obama. Mitt gave us the framework for Obamacare and gave us another four years of Obama. Paul Ryan gave us increased debt ceiling limits:

I wish our tearful House Speaker would just show some compassion for American taxpayers and our children, but he and Mr. Ryan have already surrendered to President Obama,” Temple said. “It’s a cowardly act of treason against coming generations, and we may be able to give Boehner something to really cry about in 2012.

Now all three are ready to turn their backs on what the general base has shown they want. Each in their own way would never turn their back on Democrats, and did what they could to work with Democrats and ignored their own base when they lead. Ryan did not stand firm on the debt ceiling, George W increased domestic spending more than any president prior. Mitt could not get the base to turn out. Yet now, their virtuous moral fiber will not allow them to support their own base.

Well why should it, each has ignored their base and so continuing down that path is not new territory. It is what they do… and it is why they do not understand the Trump phenomenon. They are political Elitist and One-Worlders. They go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. When Democrats win elections, they say, “Elections have consequences” and the likes of Bush, Mitt and Ryan believe them. When Republicans win elections the Democrats ask, “What are you going to do to work across the aisle” and the likes of Bush, Mitt and Ryan dutifully start to work across that aisle. When Trump says “we are putting the American people first again”, that is blasphemous to the Elitist One-Worlders. Putting American people first – that they just cannot support!

Chris Matthews Still Searching for Integrity

Trump was handed a blow by being reckless enough to go on a “Town Hall” hosted by Chris Matthews. Chris for his part did his Democratic duty to help his party, by setting Trump up with a loaded question. Not unlike when Stephanopoulos tried to hammer Romney on a 1965 Contraception Ruling. In both cases, the questions were attack salvos with the aim of helping their brand of politics and party. Transparent – sure, Underhanded – of course, but effective – we think not so much. The fact that both of these media wonks keep their jobs tells you all you need to know about their respective networks, followers and personal integrity (ends do justify their means).

We are disappointed that Trump answered a Chris Thrill Up My Leg hypothetical. Trump has been married three times; he should know to run from any hypothetical questions. What Trump did do effectively is actually trip up Mr. Thrill Up My Leg. You probably didn’t see this part of the interview because liberal news outlets don’t play it:

TRUMP: Are you Catholic?

MATTHEWS: Yes, I think …

TRUMP: And how do you feel about the Catholic Church’s position?

MATTHEWS: Well, I accept the teaching authority of my church on moral issues.

TRUMP: I know, but do you know their position on abortion?

MATTHEWS: Yes, I do.

TRUMP: And do you concur with the position?

MATTHEWS: I concur with their moral position but legally, I get to the question — here’s my problem with it …

(LAUGHTER)

TRUMP: No, no, but let me ask you: But what do you say about your church?

MATTHEWS: It’s not funny.

TRUMP: Yes, it’s really not funny. What do you say about your church? They’re very, very strong.

MATTHEWS: They’re allowed to — but the churches make their moral judgments

What Mr. Thrill Up My Leg was asking Trump is simple, if some force from another planet (or maybe God) reverses roe v. wade and abortion becomes against the law – should there be punishment for breaking the law. There is a logical problem with your brain if you do not already know the answer to that question. Should there be punishment for those breaking the speed limit laws, how about banking fraud, how about murder? It is a stupid question, unlike Trump’s question to Chris. Chris, while being a very strong supporter for a religion that is the state – his personal religion will never get in the way of his convictions. Sad, but right on target with the Ends Justify the Means Crowd.

We at Political Fuzz wish we could interview Chris, in his style – it might go like this:

PF: So when should a woman get the right to kill a child?

MATTHEWS: I don’t under stand the…

PF: Should she be able to kill it 2 months before birth?

MATTHEWS: I’m not essentially in favor of late term abortion, but…

PF: How about one month?

MATTHEWS: Like I was saying…

PF: How about one hour?

MATTHEWS: Well…

PF: How about 5 seconds after birth, you know like the 5-second rule for dropped food?

MATTHEWS: Now that is…

PF: How about before the baby’s first birthday?

MATTHEWS: Of course not…

PF: Some women have killed their children after conception, should they be let go?

MATTHEWS: I’m not …

PF: So your position is just a matter of where the clocks minute hand is at the time?

Ted Cruz, get ready for more of the same

Ted Cruz is often touted as the man of principle, a conservative truth teller… As much as we would like to believe that, in the same way Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh do – there are too many disturbing red flags.

Some of Ted’s flip-flops include:

Allowing The States To Legalize Marijuana
Background Checks On Guns
TPA
Birthright Citizenship
Agriculture & Flood Insurance
Abolishing the TSA
Government Stimulus
No Child Left Behind
John Roberts
H1B1 Visas

Then we have the men around Ted that do not seem to worry the anti-establishment types, but why?

His campaign manager, Chad C. Sweet, co-founded the Chertoff Group with former Bush and Obama administration Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.

Cruz’s foreign policy advisor is the notorious neocon James Woolsey, the former director of the CIA during the Clinton administration. Woolsey is connected to the now largely defunct Project for the New American Century (PNAC), a think tank with an agenda formulated by top neocons William Kristol and Robert Kagan. PNAC was at the forefront of the Bush administration push to invade Iraq. He is a former vice president of the defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton and an advocate of the neocon hardline on Iran.

Ted’s foreign policy team includes Elliot Abrams, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and the son-in-law of Norman Podhoretz, a trailblazing neoconservative ideologue. Abrams was a key adviser on Mideast policy at the National Security Council (NSC) during the George W. Bush presidency and also a staunch advocate of the Iraq invasion, the hardline on Iran and military strikes against the government of Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

Ted Cruz’s Wife is a Goldman Sachs VP

Heidi, is a Goldman Sachs vice president in Houston, Texas, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also served as an economic advisor for the Bush administration. In 2011, a Cruz campaign spokesman portrayed Heidi as “an expert on North American trade,” in other words she is savvy when it comes to globalist transnational trade deals like NAFTA, the single most destructive government move against the American worker in history.

Versed at Misdirection

The March 3rd 2016 Fox Debate showed a very skilled Ted Cruz avoiding a direct question about his H1B stance. Megan Kelly noted that Ted did a 180 on his quadrupling of H1B’s. The larger point missed by the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, is that long before Ted’s conversion, a bipartisan group of senators started to investigate. The stalwart truth teller refused to participate! This is troubling when you combine it with the PNAC connection, the Goldman Sachs connection, the Booz Allen connection, the CFR connection… and the list goes on.

However, you have to admire how smooth Ted is and how lack luster the conservative media remains to this slight of hand.  What is so disingenuous about this response is Ted is part of the process to make or stop bills like H1B not Trump. Trump can take advantage of them – like all of of his competition, but he doesn’t have the power to change it. Ted on the other had does and elected to ignore it… until called out.

Ted’s 180 flip on this issue is book-ended with his now stated 180 day moratorium on H1B. 180 days sounds long enough to let the issue die off and one has to wonder why a Conservative Ted Cruz prior to the issue being used as an attack against him, in his run for office, refused to participate in investigating this abuse. Conservative Stalwart or Establishment Opportunist… one has to wonder.

The incredible hubris of National Review

Here is the insanity and incredible hubris of the current GOP and National Review’s argument that Donald Trump is not conservative…

Unbelievably after giving us many decades of looking just like Democrats, the GOP and NR are talking conservative values! After watching segment after segment of “The Architect” Karl Rove on that “Uber Conservative” channel Fox News, with his whiteboard in hand, telling “conservatives” they need to bend this way and that way to get Latino votes, Black votes, Independent votes – I never once heard him reference conservative principles! No, no… getting the vote that is what matters!

“Time and again in this century, the political map of the world was transformed. And in each instance, a New World Order came about through the advent of a new tyrant or the outbreak of a bloody global war, or its end.” – George H. W. Bush

After giving us New World Order George H. W. Bush who pledged,
no new taxes” in 1988, we got New Taxes. He also gave us the Immigration
Act of 1990 (some of it good, but none would consider it a bastion of Conservative
ideals). We also got the over-reaching big government mandate to states of the
Clean Air Act. President George H. W. Bush racked up a $1.03 trillion deficit.

“I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system.” –George W. Bush

How about George W. Bush. Didn’t he create a new large government agency called DHS? Didn’t we have an option of bolstering what was already in place? It does not sound like a conservative ideal to create new large government agencies with overlapping duties… does it? A CATO report from 2005, based on revised data released during the summer by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), making a side-by-side comparison of the spending habits of each president during the last 40 years, shows that “George W. Bush is one of the biggest spenders of them all. In fact, he is an even bigger spender than Lyndon B. Johnson in terms of discretionary spending”. That sounds conservative! Add to that a 100 Billion farm bill, $15 Billion African Aid package, a $400 billion Medicare prescription drug bill, and let’s not forget federalizing all airport screeners. Where was NR on those?

“It really does serve as the blueprint for the Affordable Care Act,” said David Sims, an Obama deputy senior adviser for communications and strategy.

Then we have our next Republican Conservative Choice – Mitt!

President Obama visits Boston to discuss the Affordable Care Act and its similarities to
Mitt Romney’s health care plan in Massachusetts

Mitt: No apologies on climate stance

Rush Limbaugh: Romney Is Not A Conservative

“Only in times of great crisis or betrayal is it necessary to publicly censure our leaders. Today we are faced with both. For too long we have waited, hoping Senator McCain would return to our party’s values on his own. That has not happened,”

Do we even have to discuss Senator McCain – our other Conservative
option from the GOP?

Arizona GOP rebukes McCain for not being conservative enough

Scarborough Rips McCain: ‘That Is Not a Conservative’

Wow – you know you are in trouble when Scarborough calls you out for not being conservative!

Would it be too crass to say…

National Review – WTF?

GOP-NR may well think all Trump supporters are stupid. However, it may well be time for a new party; the neocons have destroyed the GOP and any semblance of conservative ideals. Now that an outsider wants to, at the minimum, build a border – the neocons find their conservative stones.

I am not buying it!

How both the RNC and CNBC can recover from the 2016 Republican debate

A shock to the system was felt when CNBC hosted a recent Republican debate. We are not sure any conservative was actually shocked, as they have seen this kind of treatment for some 15 or more years. Which begs the question, why does the RNC keep going on liberal media. Here is a hint for the RNC, you not only will be treated badly, you will not expand your base. So why bother?

First kudos to Ted Cruz. His outburst was like rousing everybody in a room on fire. Republicans have become so accustom to this kind of treatment they barely flinch. However Ted Cruz woke everyone up and to the credit of all candidates, they followed suit. In addition, Donald Trump started a trend with “Negotiating 101”. Taking the debate from 3 hrs. to 2 hrs. John Harwood lied about it always being a 2hr debate, just one of multiple lies he was caught in on that night.

Now RNC chairman Reince Priebus wrote in a letter to NBC News chairman Andrew Lack that the Republican Party was suspending its partnership with NBC News for the Feb. 26, 2016 event, citing CNBC’s “bad faith” in this week’s candidate forum.

Ted Cruz proposed that a future debate be moderated by the right-wing broadcasters Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin. However, we here at PoliticalFuzz.com have a much better idea. Let us have a different kind of debate, a debate that will mend fences and show the true character of NBC and their political professionals. We propose a debate hosted by Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin , BUT on stage are the proud news professionals John Harwood, Becky Quick and Carl Quintanilla. Let the likes of Sean, Rush and Mark ask them questions about NBC and other liberal media. Let them raise questions about past episodes of biased reporting and let John, Becky and Carl answer those questions using their combined journalistic prowess.

Sign the Pledge!

Well it happened – The Donald signed the RNC loyalty pledge. That could spell the end of him as a GOP candidate. What exactly is the GOP these days? They hate the Tea Party, they hate laws, they hate the constitution, they hate conservatives and you can be assured they hate The Donald. Hillary Clinton has violated the law, yet the GOP is tepid in their response. They have gone after Trump harder than they have Hillary. This one thing is sure, if you are a conservative Republican that would like to see laws upheld, would like to see a party take back the political debates as the Adult in the room, and would like a conservative choice – you are in the wrong party.

Jeb Bush has held a constant 4th or 5th position in polls, yet he is always talked about like number two. It is a forgone conclusion that he will be the GOP nominee for Presidency. In his own words, losing the primary to win the general.

Conservatives have given the GOP the House and Senate and gotten absolutely nothing for it. Now there is one person saying he will at least close the border. And they want him to sign a loyalty pledge! They want to be sure that he will not upset the oligarchy! The GOP needs to get a clear message. Instead of going after the Latino vote, they need to go after their base. We need to sign a pledge, and here it is – spread the word – the GOP needs to hear this pledge loud and clear:

What Karl Rove Doesn’t Get, and Maybe Trump Does…

It is still amazing to us here at Politicalfuzz that Karl Rove is considered a “go to” analysis. He has been praised by the likes of Rush Limbaugh. To be fair Rush has also criticized him – but Rush even let that “architect” sit in for him as host. So there was a lot of love going on at some point, I assume when Rush was getting access to the White House and carrying all that water.

Karl Rove has probably done more to destroy the Conservative Party than anyone has in modern history. In 2013, Media Matters actually did a pretty good job covering Karl and the anger he generates in the Republican Party:

A Brief History Of Conservative Anger At “Propagandist” Karl Rove And His “Repulsive” Political Group

If history is not interesting enough, the article above also includes a couple of Twitter posts from Trump back in 2013, where he calls Karl Rove a loser and complains he has no victories. I wonder why Fox didn’t ask Trump about those posts?

Karl Rove was also a full on supporter of the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). You know who else was a player in PNAC – Jeb Bush! Much of the War on Terror is grounded in PNAC. If you know nothing about PNAC, it is not surprising because the news media doesn’t either. I have never heard Karl or Jeb get a question about PNAC and Rove is still a FOX news analysis. Hopefully Trump will enlighten everyone (hint hint!) before Rove is done attacking him, as we can most assuredly tell you Rove will.

If Karl Rove’s past transgressions aren’t enough, they are hardly even needed. Rove’s biggest issue is his stupid white board, where he writes down all his numbers like an egghead professor. We can save a lot of marker ink to sum up Rove’s political acumen. Here it is – Win at any cost. Have no founding principles – just win. If there are 20% blue people, do things blue people like. If there are 30% green people, do what green people like. There you have it, the Karl Rove success strategy. No wonder Limbaugh thinks he is a political genius.

Here is what the RINO GOP does not get; the conservative wing of the Republican Party is sick of business as usual. In one election, we had Rudy Giuliani, a man with a proven record of accomplishment doing conservative moves and he was able to lean centrist when needed. What we got was John McCain, a person that never met a War or Democrat he didn’t like. In another election, we had yet another conservative that also could lean centrist and had a very strong proven record of accomplishment. Newt Gingrich when speaker of the house was praised by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, but not when he ran for president. No instead of someone with a proven track record like Newt, we got Mitt Romney. Instead of two conservatives with proven records of doing the hard adult conservative moves that could lean centrist, we got two full on centrists that always leaned left.

The two examples above are illustrative in so much as Rudy and Newt were on fire, then out of nowhere the usual suspects – FOX, Rush and Mark Levin started falling in line, bashing the front runners to a pulp so the “establishment puppet” could properly walk in and be crowned.

We expect the exact same path will be followed with Trump. FOX tried to come out of the gate firing because he looks so formidable. They will back off a bit in the second debate because it was so obvious. However, by the third debate – the Fox, the Rush and the Levin will all be firing at him.  Same pattern, same outcome – look for it!
