How to fix the next Lester Holt, Candy Crowley and George Stephanopoulos

Jester Holt continued the proud tradition of being in the tank for the Democratic candidate. We are shocked, it was very unexpected. Such a rare thing!

Remember Candy Crowley? CNN moderator Candy Crowley and President Obama enacted what appeared to be a prepared script to get Obama off the hook for misleading the American people about the terrorist nature of the Benghazi attack, which left several dead Americans.

Remember George Stephanopoulos pushing Mitt about whether he believed the Constitution allowed states to ban contraception. A topic no one was even talking about, but a topic the Democrats wanted to use as a “War on Women” narrative. George did his duty to party and should have lost his career with that one, but no – not in the liberal media.

This year marked the First Time the DNC held a Democratic debate on Fox, and it happened one time. In contrast, this year they held five on CNN and five on MSNBC. Yet the imprudent RNC keeps going on their biased news organizations for debates – you know the ones that edit footage of real news to make it fit their agenda. They do Joseph Goebbels proud.

Then we have Jester Holt. Breitbart News noted that Holt intervened several times to “fact-check” Trump — often erroneously — while never checking Clinton’s facts, even when she was completely wrong, as in her claim that she had never flip-flopped on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. In addition, the Washington Examiner‘s Eddie Scarry notes Holt asked Trump six follow-up questions, and none of Clinton, leaving Trump “having to debate the highly anticipated event’s moderator as well as his Democratic opponent.”

Here is how to fix this in the future – RNC listen up:

  • All future debates are held at a neutral venue
  • The RNC, DNC, and Independent parties’ Voir dire potential moderators
  • A pool of 6-8 potential moderators are agreed to by the RNC, DNC and Independent Party
  • Moderators are chosen at random from that pool the day before the debates

One additional note for the RNC, since it will not be apparent to you. You do not let the DNC tell you which moderator is chosen at random… just sayin’

Elitist One-Worlders

George W. Bush gave us Obama. Mitt gave us the framework for Obamacare and gave us another four years of Obama. Paul Ryan gave us increased debt ceiling limits:

I wish our tearful House Speaker would just show some compassion for American taxpayers and our children, but he and Mr. Ryan have already surrendered to President Obama,” Temple said. “It’s a cowardly act of treason against coming generations, and we may be able to give Boehner something to really cry about in 2012.

Now all three are ready to turn their backs on what the general base has shown they want. Each in their own way would never turn their back on Democrats, and did what they could to work with Democrats and ignored their own base when they lead. Ryan did not stand firm on the debt ceiling, George W increased domestic spending more than any president prior. Mitt could not get the base to turn out. Yet now, their virtuous moral fiber will not allow them to support their own base.

Well why should it, each has ignored their base and so continuing down that path is not new territory. It is what they do… and it is why they do not understand the Trump phenomenon. They are political Elitist and One-Worlders. They go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. When Democrats win elections, they say, “Elections have consequences” and the likes of Bush, Mitt and Ryan believe them. When Republicans win elections the Democrats ask, “What are you going to do to work across the aisle” and the likes of Bush, Mitt and Ryan dutifully start to work across that aisle. When Trump says “we are putting the American people first again”, that is blasphemous to the Elitist One-Worlders. Putting American people first – that they just cannot support!

Sign the Pledge!

Well it happened – The Donald signed the RNC loyalty pledge. That could spell the end of him as a GOP candidate. What exactly is the GOP these days? They hate the Tea Party, they hate laws, they hate the constitution, they hate conservatives and you can be assured they hate The Donald. Hillary Clinton has violated the law, yet the GOP is tepid in their response. They have gone after Trump harder than they have Hillary. This one thing is sure, if you are a conservative Republican that would like to see laws upheld, would like to see a party take back the political debates as the Adult in the room, and would like a conservative choice – you are in the wrong party.

Jeb Bush has held a constant 4th or 5th position in polls, yet he is always talked about like number two. It is a forgone conclusion that he will be the GOP nominee for Presidency. In his own words, losing the primary to win the general.

Conservatives have given the GOP the House and Senate and gotten absolutely nothing for it. Now there is one person saying he will at least close the border. And they want him to sign a loyalty pledge! They want to be sure that he will not upset the oligarchy! The GOP needs to get a clear message. Instead of going after the Latino vote, they need to go after their base. We need to sign a pledge, and here it is – spread the word – the GOP needs to hear this pledge loud and clear:

Not so Fast Fox!

So it looks like the Trumpster has made up with Roger:

Donald Trump Makes Up With Roger Ailes of Fox News

And Megyn still thinks she did nothing wrong:

Megyn Kelly Defends Debate Questions: I Didn’t ‘Attack’ Trump

And while we at the Politicalfuzz love to see such harmony in the universe, we are not so easily taken by such sleight of hand moves. Let us explain…

Megyn Kelly said, “We were trying to drill down to their most vulnerable areas and then give them a chance to explain them. And also give the audience a chance to see how they would handle that”

Here is the problem with that excuse; you did not ask Bush the following question:

Mr. Bush, you said the GOP Must ‘Lose The Primary To Win The General’. Mr. Bush, are you not unapologetically dismissing the GOP base? Moreover, just how does that work – losing the primary to win the general

No Megyn Kelly, Brett Baier, and Chris (acorn not falling far from the tree) Wallace in all of their hours and hours of preparation did not come up with that question. No, here is what they asked Bush:

WALLACE: “Senator Rubio, when Jeb Bush announced his candidacy for presidency, he said this: “There’s no passing off responsibility when you’re a governor, no blending into the legislative crowd.

Could you please address Governor Bush across the stage here, and explain to him why you, someone who has never held executive office, are better prepared to be president than he is, a man who you say did a great job running your state of Florida for eight years.

Yea – explain to Mr. Bush already!

BAIER: “Governor Bush, you have insisted that you’re your own man. You say you have a life experience uniquely your own. Not your father’s, not your brother’s.

But there are several opponents on this stage who get big- applause lines in early voting states with this line: quote, “the last thing the country needs is another Bush in the Oval Office.”

So do you understand the real concern in this country about dynastic politics?

Yea – we don’t care about all that other stuff, what about Dynasty? Do you think you could play a role on that if we brought the TV series back?  And do you like how I used the word dynastic?

WALLACE: “I want to ask you about a statement that you made last year about illegal immigrants. And here’s what you said. “They broke the law, but it’s not a felony, it’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.” Do you stand by that statement and do you stand by your support for earned legal status?

Honestly – this is a decent question for a debate. You got one good question in there, pretty good for a professional with that many years of experience!

WALLACE: “Thank you, sir.” (And sorry I had to ask a sort of tough question…)

WALLACE: “Mr. Trump, it has not escaped anybody’s notice that you say that the Mexican government, the Mexican government is sending criminals — rapists, drug dealers, across the border. Governor Bush has called those remarks, quote, extraordinarily ugly. I’d like you — you’re right next to him — tell us — talk to him directly and say how you respond to that

Yea – explain to Mr. Bush already!

KELLY: “Governor Bush, for days on end in this campaign, you struggled to answer a question about whether knowing what we know now…”

You screwed up the answer the first time – let us give you a chance to get it right. To be fair, Jeb was taken out of context when he responded to this question the first time. He was clearly talking from an “at that point in time” standpoint. It is a non-issue – so let us throw another softball.

BAIER: “Governor Bush, you are one of the few people on the stage who advocates for Common Core education standards, reading and math. A lot of people on this stage vigorously oppose federal involvement in education. They say it should all be handled locally.

President Obama’s secretary of education, Arnie Duncan, has said that most of the criticism of Common Core is due to a, quote, “fringe group of critics.” Do you think that’s accurate?

Yea – is Arnie Duncan right or wrong?

FOX Fair and GOP Balanced

Some 5 years ago, I started telling my friend that FOX news is not conservative, it is GOP. Let us be clear there is a difference, now more than ever, between the GOP and Conservatism. While my friend now sees this about FOX, FOX is still seen by the left as some extreme right wing organization. It will always been seen that way, because left leaning people will simply never watch it. They rarely ever watch any political shows (as rating numbers often confirm).

Take one of the moderators of the 1st 2016 Presidential GOP Republican Prime Time Debate, Chris Wallace. He rarely goes after a liberal political figure the way he does a conservative one. Apparently, I’m not alone in recognizing this:

If Wallace were not working for Rupert Murdoch, the loaded questions, opinionated assertions and repeated interruptions would earn Wallace a lifetime membership in the Liberal Media Elite Club.”

Sounds like a perfect pick to host the 1st 2016 GOP debate! However, the biggest disappointment has to be Megyn Kelly. Between the two, they asked Trump a barrage of questions you will never ever see a MSNBC or CNN moderator ask a Democrat candidate. And I mean NEVER!

It is obvious to anyone that has even a modicum of common sense this was a direct attack to take Trump out, because he does not fit the GOP mold. For one, he does not sound like a Democrat and these days, to be a GOP top tier candidate, you have to sound like a Democrat.

Big Donors Warn Candidates On Eve Of Debate: “Take Trump Out”

Since the above story broke on DC Whispers prior to the debate, apparently the tack was changed to using the moderators. It was so obvious, that the attack started on the first question. Instead of “moderating” the debate, the FOX news “Professionals” became the debaters. It was transparent and sick, but mostly it was sad.

If Megyn and Chris really did prepare as much as they say they did, then it is clear there was much discussion about Trump. It is also apparent that conversation had nothing to do with Trump’s ideas, his ability nor his success. Either it simply was about what they had been instructed to do or each watches many reality TV shows. I wonder which…

Of this I can be sure; Megyn Kelly – if your news career continues to blossom, you will look back on this performance with embarrassment.
